Fantastic Dickens!

I had this as a young person and found it again here, much to my delight it still holds all the past joy it did first time round. Extremely well dramatised and performed, if you love Dickens , you'll love this version of the largely, in my opinion underated book.

Very Moving Version of Tale of Two Cities

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Excellent production of Charles Dickens great work full of feeling and well acted by John Duttine, Maurice Denham and Geoffrey Whitehead who could put their personality to all and any character making this a play I will enjoy listening to many times. A full 6 hours and 23 minuets went to quick.

A firm favourite

I know this story inside out but never tire of it. The cast Is superb, the story brings home the horrors of the French Revolution and the dangers of replacing one tyranny with another. One I will always go back to and highly recommended, especially if you want an entry into Dickens.

Dull.

Good performances by the cast don't make up for the fact, it is a dull book. My god it's dull. I didn't finish the book, so I don't know what happens in the end, and I don't care....
