enjoyed a lot

A good twist on an old tale and an enjoyable listen. Some nice historical facts as well really help to support the story and draw you in.

Loved the story

I was pleasantly surprised that the narrator was scottish unlike some books I have listened to where I actually laughed when the accent sounded more Irish.

A Breathtaking Highland Romance

The background to the story was brilliantly researched, and the setting beautifully described. Fraser is a true Highlander, loyal to Bonnie Prince Charlie and caught up in the aftermath of the final battle at Culloden when he meets the mysterious Cathy. There are a few twists that I won't refer to "spoilers!" - but the way they are drawn together across time is nicely done. Thoroughly enjoyable Scottish Highland Romance.
