Powerful Tool to Start Communication with Kid
As I listened to this audiobook, a couple of friends who had children with delayed speech came to mind. This should be very useful for them to kickstart early communication and empower them to assist their child instead of being on a long waiting list for a therapist. This audiobook contains three decades of expertise from a speech therapist. The self-video and self-practice strategies empower a parent to connect, get out of his/her head, communicate and have fun with the child. This is an excellent resource.

Great book!
I don't have children, but I listened to this book to try and learn how I can help my niece learn when I babysit her. The strategies presented here are clear and easy-to-follow, and I have already gotten a noticeable change in my niece's responses when we play! Her responsiveness is definitely higher with the changes I've made after listening to this book. I love how the author breaks down the strategies, explaining not just how, but why and when to use them. The kid-centered approach is simple and fun, and I particularly appreciated the chapter on quick, repeatable games. It’s well-structured, making it easy to learn. If you're looking to improve a child's communication skills, give this book a try. I also thought the narration was pleasant and easy to listen to. Highly recommend.
