Great Start

My daughter has been saying she wanted to start beekeeping and I am glad I found this book. It is well written to make the process sound doable. It explains things well and made me less afraid to take on such a journey even though bees scare me. The audio book is great and my daughter and I will be able to listen together again so we can get started!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book on beginner Beekeeping. It provides detailed steps on the process of setting up your first hive, locating the most efficient and reliable equipment to use, and diagnosing issues with your bees. Chapter one, however, was my favorite. Learning about their biology and the roles of the different bees was very informative and I'll never see these little workers the same way again. The book encourages good stewardship as Beekeepers, knowing that healthy bee colonies mean a healthy environment for humankind. I've started mapping out the best location to place my first hive and make my own contribution to our planet.
