About this listen
The 1st novel in James Patterson's Women's Murder Club series. As the only woman homicide inspector in San Francisco, Lindsay Boxer has to be tough. But nothing she has seen prepares her for the horror of the honeymoon murders, when a brutal maniac begins viciously slaughtering newlywed couples on their wedding nights. Lindsay is sickened by the deaths, but her determination to bring the murderer to justice is threatened by her own personal tragedy. So she turns to Claire, a leading coroner, Cindy, a journalist and Jill, a top attorney, for help with both her crises, and the Women's Murder Club is born.

Great book
I really enjoyed this book. Great storyline.
The narrator has a great reading voice, but sometimes her voice sounds sticky, like she needs to drink some water......but it's not too distracting.

Great writing as usual from James Patterson
Love James Patterson, he writes a fantastic book. So many in-depth twists and turns. Unfortunately, the narrator spoiled it for me. She swallows too often and you can really hear it. Having said that, I had to endure her, so I could finish the book. Hoping she doesn’t narrate this whole series.

1at to die
A very good thought out book and story. I had to keep listening to find out what and who was going to be the next victim. How the main character was going to solve the crime. At some point if the story I was at the edge of my seat waiting to find out what was coming up next . A thoroughly enjoyable crime thriller to listen to.

Great story, iffy naration
The book is great and the narration as a whole is good but it sounds like she is sucking on a mint or desperate for a drink to moisten her mouth through much of it. Very off putting in places.

Off putting noises from narrator!
Brilliant story(also read the book) but not good narration or maybe editing..had to abandon it. Lots of noises from narrator swallowing or sounding like she's eating etc. Not a great experience and will not go for the next book if it's the same narrator.

Disappointing narration
Kept hearing the narrator lick her lips and swallowing, not an enjoyable experience. The story itself is good though.

Reader
The reader needs to work on breath control. Too many gasps at beginning of sentences. Distracting and annoying.

Narrator annoying
Loved the book & have downloaded the others, but not looking forward to the same narrator.
She sounds like she’s swallowing , drinking or something, also sounded as if she had chewing gum.
Made that very distracting from story line. Why didn’t production team notice this. Hope she’s better in next one or I’ll have to spend more money buying the books
