Summary
My orders are simple. Capture her. Marry her. Take her inheritance. Get rid of her.
The bookish little recluse is worth more than she knows. She’s an unassuming librarian. I’m the brigadier of the Russian Bratva. She has no friends. I command a small army.
She’s a modest woman. And now she’s mine.

A different kind of mafia man
I would never know how it feels to be kidnapped and taken to a foreign country. Scary!! But this books makes it sound dreamy, mostly because of the happy ending. Sexy scenes, suspense and a bit of dom/sub themes. The sweet librarian and the intimidating mafia guy with the smoldering accent.
Wen Ross' voice made me swoon...

Hot!!!
OMG!... This is another great book by Jane Henry. The story is interesting and engaging, and you will get attached to the characters really fast. This story is about Kazimir and Sadie, and has just enough darkness, and a HEA. Kazimir is a caring, possessive, dominant man who demands and gets respect. In order to one day inherit money, he kidnapped Sadie. My issues with this book are that Sadie has fight in her, but she falls for Kazimir. Not only is he her kidnapper, but he also becomes her lover. I just hope that Sadie doesn't lose all of her spunk. The narrator, Wen Ross, did a great job on this audiobook, and his accent gave me an extra reason to listen to it. Overall, this is a great story and I'm glad to have read it!

Whoa : o
Jane Henry, holy smokes. I found this book to be intense. Wen Ross’ narration was great. I love it when the narrator just gives extra life to the author’s words. I was not able to put this book down.

✨Solo Narration✨
As my first solo narration this one actually blew my mind! If this is what they have to offer then I’ve been missing out 😯
The softer read of the female POV made it easy to separate it from the male POV, and wow 🤩 that slight growl for the MMC just brought his dominance to life in a whole new way 🫠
I’ve read this one previously, and this audio bumped up my rating so if this is on your TBR then this one is an absolute must listen!! 👏🏼

Russian mafia romance!
Russian mafia romance!
I thourghly enjoyed this book. I definitely recommend this book especially a Hot Russian. There is something about a sexy bad boy and top it off being a Russian bad boy.
When I started this book it grabbed a hole of me. I couldn’t stop listening and it just got better and better the more I listened.
The narrator Wen Ross is a amazing narrator. He has a way with accent that sounds damn sexy.
The only downside was that I wished it was longer.

Hot Russian Dom
The Bratva’s Baby by Jane Henry has some dark overtones, but it’s a lot delicious with a very dominant protector, who finds the naive, innocent he has kidnapped does have a backbone and is not completely compliant. The plan to wed her, bed her, take her money then end her life doesn’t go as intended. As the Bratva officer finds out, but he does come to other conclusions.
Wen Ross narrates with a steamy hot Russian accent.
Looking forward to more in the Wicked Dom series.

mixed feelings
this book should have come with a warning, it's very darkf and full of non consent acts of BDSM and sexual acts forced upon a kidnapped young woman who is a virgin and completely inexperienced. carried out by a man who abuses BDSM pain to control her, demanding her complete submission to the point of no free will over any aspect of her life. while confusing her with forced pleasure and pain and overwhelmes her emotionally. although some of these are elements and punishments a BDSM Dom gives a submissive, it's done with consent and not to condition someone to expect pain with their pleasure before they even have chance to work out what they do and don't like. ive listened to loads of books like this, many very Stockholm style but for some reason I found the first half of the book difficult, but if bratva men with few morals about how women are treated, cohesion, hostage/captive, mostly forced BDSM with the smallest amount of romance towards the end of the book is your thing, then this is for you.
on the positive Wen Ross did a fantastic job with the narration

A great dark story
I was not sure what to expect with this one but it was one heck of a good story and kept me entertained from start to finish. Sadie is trying to stay under the radar and have little communication with others so a library seems a great place to work but when the tall handsome stranger takes notice she is intrigued. It gets quiet dark and Sadie is taken by Kazimir back to Russia and held by the Bratva. Sadie and Kazimir are both broken and I think this is why they fit so well together.
Wen Ross was just AMAZING he kept the Russian accent so well all the way through. He never goes OTT with the female voice it's just enough. This is my first Jane Henry book but will be diving into more very soon.
A very enjoyable book told very well by Mr Ross.x

Very Dark 🔥 Adults only
If you like a controlling man who tells you when you can sleep, eat, dress and speak then this is the story for you. I did struggle with this aspect but I knew it was dark and had to remind myself it was a work of fiction. Kazimir is in full control of everything and he’s not afraid to dish out punishment. I would have liked more of an ending and experienced the happy ending properly. It’s a good story.
The narrator did a really good job of capturing Karimir and bringing his character to life.
