About this listen
Two hotter-than-hell boyfriends to juggle, one merciless archangel who wants me dead, and then there's Francis. I still don't know what his deal is, and after that fateful night in the caves beneath the Academy, I'm not sure I want to know.
Everything around me is changing, but I'm the same. I'm still the only human. No powers, no special skills to speak of. Just a prophecy that says a human will one day retire the most powerful Grim Reaper alive, but I doubt I'm the savior the supernatural world has been waiting for. If I am, the implications are too horrible. Because this powerful being they're afraid of...is my real father.
Contains mature themes.

A bit cringe but good story!
After thoroughly enjoying the first book in this series I was excited to listen to this one. Unfortunately I haven’t made it to even half way through without cringing, because of the ridiculous amount of unnecessary sex details. I’m no prude but this is waaaaayyy more descriptive than I needed. Inference is enough, the detail just feels gross and voyeuristic for the genre. Also, a warning might have been nice as it caused an embarrassing situation listening aloud in my kitchen 🫣

Unnecessary detail takes away from the storyline.
As much as I enjoyed book 2, I felt it took an unnecessary erotic direction. Mila taking 2 lovers adds a great angle, but is it really necessary to go into detail? Also, a little warning would have been appreciated. Listening in semi public areas can be a little awkward 😳 So the story is totally gripping, and I'd like to know what happens next, but it seems Mila will be taking on 2 more lovers, If I wanted erotica I'd buy books from that genre. I compared book 1 as an adult version of Harry Potter, and when reading where book 3 goes, it does seem to be following very much in HP's footsteps. Morningstar is now headmaster, rules have changed, students are scared...........
As much as I've been gripped by this book, I think I need to try something else.

Erotica diquised as fantasy
After ebjoying the first book i found this book far to descriptive in its intamacy than i was wanting from an audio book to relax too. I haven't managed to get past chapter 3, ot just made for awkward cringy listening when trying to settle for the evening.
