About this listen
They say they saved my life, even though I never saw them do it.
Cyril, Isaac, Ashe, Ezra, and Arlo call themselves the Lost Boys, and they’re just one branch of a "family" that rules everything in the city I grew up in. They’re the bad guys, in every sense of the word, and they don’t care who knows it.
Worse? They want to show me all of their sharp, bloody edges.
After a vacation gone wrong, the Lost Boys tell me that they’re the only reason I made it out alive. That even though I didn’t know it at the time, they saved me. It doesn’t matter that I didn’t see them do it. It doesn’t matter that I doubt these monsters are capable of anything other than taking a life.
Because their word is law, and now that they’ve saved me?
They own me.
But I’m not a pushover, and I don’t need a knife to prove to them I won’t be made theirs so easily.
Owned by the Lost Boys is a why choose, dark romance stand-alone that contains MM, MFM, and so much more. If you’re bothered by killing, blood, and kink, then this might not be the book for you.

Excellent
This book is amazing. With a very brutal storyline and just as tough characters, these lost boys are relentless with their pursuit of their Wendy.
A fantastic performance.

My Thoughts on Owned by the Lost Boys
I’m almost ashamed to say I was a little uncertain about this one when I first started. But it really wasn’t long before the story sucked me in, and I couldn’t stop listening. Peter Pan was one of those fairy tales I grew up watching but I’m all grown up and this version is all grown up to match.
Not only did I enjoy the personality of the leading lady who was this story’s version of Wendy, but it was fun listening to her go head-to-head with the guys when provoked. She had her insecurities which were understandable, but she was also a survivor and I quickly fell in love with her. The boys, all five of them, were just the same. Each unique and easy to get attached to despite their crazy.
The narration on this was amazing. I loved the duet style. I felt Allyson Voller was great as Arista/Ari and Tyler Darby managed to pull of three different guys so well that I could just sit back and enjoy his performance without stressing out over who he was voicing in that moment.
I cannot wait for more books from this author. Her blending of romance and horror has me absolutely hooked and I can’t get enough.

Owned By The Lost Boys
by A.J. Merlin
I'm addicted to horror movies.
And my favorite genre is dark romance.
I didn't read the description I just saw that it included a dark novel, with a combination of MM MFM, I wanted the book to surprise me, so I came with little information about it.
I was so excited to reading this book, Especially when it's a writer I'm trying for the first time.
Cyril, Isaac, Asher, Ezra, and Arlo call themselves the Lost Boys.
They save Ari from a cold blood murder, in their twisted way now she belongs to them.
I loved the link about children's legend Peter Pan, A crime family, kinky , an reverse harem, dark men and a brave woman. There's a lot of potential in this book. I wanted the writer to elaborate more on the relationship between the characters.
✍🏼... “Fucked up?”
“Well, you don’t become a Lost Boy because your home life is great and everyone loves you.”...✍🏼
I highly recommend this book!
it's the first book by this author that I've tried, and won't be the last! I really enjoyed the narrators voice They did such a wonderful job ❤️🔥

Fabulous narration!
This has been a good, hot story, but what really made it 5 star was the excellence if the narration. The cadence and timing of the duet narration is some of the best I have heard. Both narrators, Tyler Darby and Allyson Voller segue into each other in a style which is seemless and with absolutely correct vocal expression. Fabulous! 💖💖💖💖💖

My kind of harem!
One girl, and a band of brothers. It’s dark and dangerous, but quite interesting. It’s not instalove but develops as all the characters come together (literally and figuratively). I like the world that the author writes beautifully. This is an awesome fantasy. And the narration *chef’s kiss* is on point and sexy.

Yummmy darkness!!!
Omg, why am I so enthralled by this story? At first, I was hesitant but that stopped quickly. This story is so dark, and you feel guilty about how entertaining we find it. Oh hotness. I needed a shower after I listened. Then listened again to my favorite parts. The narrators did such a good job.

Holy dark & deliciousness. 🥵
Ari’s life is changed abruptly, but no matter how much she fights it, she secretly craved the darkness.
This was dark and delicious.
I just wish we had more ⚔️

Spicy!
This story immediately starts off with a plot twist. A girl walks into a tattoo shop and gets a gang symbol tattooed onto her flesh, where she is thrown head first into gang life and all the quirks that come with it. Sometimes the smut overrode the plot, but overall I liked how each character was well fleshed out with an air of authenticity to them, and how each of them began a delicious slow burn dance with our main fmc!

Dark & Gritty
This is my second book by AJ Merlin, and I'm just as satisfied. Owned by the Lost Boys is a wonderfully written dark retelling of the classic Peter Pan tale with a multifaceted twist, incorporating a reverse harem, second chance, and mafia romance twist. The plot is imaginative, thrilling, twisted, dark, and gritty, just the way I like it. The character development is absolutely phenomenal and quite sophisticated. The dark and mysterious band of brothers, Cyril, Isaac, Ezra, Asher, Ari, and Arlo, are the complex and multidimensional aspect of Peter Pan. Arista Verlice is the beautiful, sweet protagonist, Wendy Darling. Arista is far from the black-and-white version of the original tale; she is sassy with a kaleidoscope of shades of dark and light.
The one thing that stood up to me and I liked most was that the romance developed over time, despite the physical attraction, tension, and electrifying chemistry. The storyline was plot-focused with plenty of action, drama, and intensity, rather than solely driven by the physical dynamics between the characters. I really enjoyed Owned by the Lost Boys and wished the story continued; it would've made an excellent trilogy or series.
Superb narration! Allyson Voller and Tyler Darby did a marvelous job capturing and portraying the various characters' unique personalities. They breathed life into the words and made the story even more engaging. Overall, Owned by the Lost Boys was a fantastic listen with a fascinating premise and one I'll strongly recommend.

Interesting listen
I wasn't at all sure what to make of this book, it has a lot of twists and turns and will keep you on your toes for sure. Overall a good listen just not what I had expected but I wasn't sure what to expect. I'd listen to it again. The narration was great as well.
