Summary
Tom Gray is one of the world's top models - an effortless object of desire. Self-contained, elusive, and always in control, he's accustomed to living life entirely on his own terms. But when Tom comes under suspicion in the gory death of his employer, his world spirals into chaos.
Someone's framing him. Someone's stalking him. And as old secrets come to light, Tom finds his adversary always one step ahead. Will Foster is the only man Tom trusts to help. But Tom brutally burned all bridges between them two years before, and Will paid a bitter price.
If he wants to survive, Tom must prove his innocence to Will - and to the world.

fascinating
Thrilling novel, beautifully narrated. But SO many characters all twirling around as suspects and all spewing everchanging theories I could not keep up with.

Stunningly brilliant
This is such a fantastic twisty-turny mystery thriller. Wonderfully plotted and keeping the listener guessing until the very end. There is a romance entwined in the story and it was beautifully balanced with the mystery arc. Narration by Gary Furlong was masterful. This audiobook is a must for lovers of thrillers, police procedurals and mystery.

Brilliant
Listened to this immediately after the first book in the series. The writing and plots in this story were sheer brilliance at times - with sub plots providing more twists and turns. And like in book 1 with the will they won’t they have Ben and James, here we had Will and Tom.
Narration was amazing

A Phenomenal British Crime/Thriller That keeps You Engrossed
Wow! Just Wow!
After listening toDal MacLean’s fist audiobook Bitter Legacy, which was just amazing, I was expecting good things from Object of Desire, but in no way was I prepared for how good! I thought I had guessed what was going on so many times only to change my mind when another event happened.
This book was, in my opinion, phenomenal! Again, it focused on a dysfunctional MC, Tom, a model who we met in Bitter Legacy. He is not always a likeable character, promiscuous, selfish, and self obsessed but, also intelligent, independent and determined.
This book is entirely seen though Tom’s POV, I believe the next book is seen though Will’s POV so that will definitely be a one click buy for me.
Gary Furlong was superb in his narration of both Bitter Legacy and Object of Desire and I hope he continues to narrate any further audiobooks in this series.

Where there's a Will
Dramatic passionate thriller, so intertwined, so fast paced, you may get whiplash. The full cast of characters ensures there are plenty of suspects and theories. This author can construct a complicated well written tale with excellent dialogue, descriptions and lexicon, on a far superior level to so many books I have encountered on Audible and off. True love rarely runs smoothly, and it doesn't here, but we get to enjoy the kissing and making up. Fantastic narration. MOST ENJOYABLE

Fantastic series
Another great book in the fantastic series. This time with a new couple Will and Tom, with appearances by Jamie and Ben from the first book. Excellent narration as always from Gary Furlong.

Keep Up!
The novel opens straight off with an incident and continues with numerous plot twists and turns as Tom Gray's life gets turned upside down. The story easily grabs hold and you certainly have to pay attention to stay on top of what's happening.
The bedroom scenes are where things get difficult. Nothing the matter with what happens, but the author's language choices are excruciating. In some books, descriptions of sex are so flowery as to be laughable. Here, the words employed are banal, unsexy, and jolting and don't make for a sensual, erotic reading experience. That's a pity because elsewhere, the story rattles along, keeping you on your toes.
Gary Furlong's Welsh lilt isn't to be missed.
