Great Story bought to life
The story has a great balance between world-building and the story for the characters, brought to life excellently by the narrator, I look forward to more of the series on audio

Thrilling!
🌟🌟🌟🌟 4.5 stars
🔥🔥🔥 Heat Level: 3.5
🎧🎧🎧🎧 Narration: 4.5
A complex and gripping tale set in a futuristic world at war. I loved the details that make up the world and story. I could imagine every element. I loved the mates' element but even felt the instant love connection between Alek and Seth. I can't wait to see what Seth can do in future books. He's already so powerful and to mate with the alpha of all shifters, they make the ultimate power couple.
A great world, with an array of unique characters just waiting for their own story, I really enjoyed this one and can't wait for more in this unique and imaginative world!! Fantastic narration too!

Only just begun
This book has such a great storyline. There’s so much more to come. The characters are well written and very likeable. The dynamic of this M/M relationship is perfect, I love the strength of the Alpha’s mate. Excellent performance from Gavin.

as great as the ebook
The story is always full stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.
The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.
PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!
To my ratings:
5* - very very good
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A
3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

The Alpha shifter and the psy
Seth is running for his life right into his enemy’s territory. Alek sees a psy being chased into his land. This psy intrigues him as much as the chase. When Alek saves his enemy he also saves his mate. The relationship is a bit strained with all the misconceptions of his people and the bad stuff the psys have done to them. But Seth is different, way different and he will show them all. Good world building. I enjoyed the action and also the blooming romance. Both main characters are fair and strong. And the narration is really good.

My Thoughts
I've enjoyed the universe building and the rich details. The romantic part was nice, but as a romance centered novels fan I was a little frustrated that the story felt more about the urban fantasy plot. Looking forward for book 2 and seeing some loose ends be wrapped up.

NOPE!
I adore the Fated Mates trope so I was eager to read this fast and thought-to-be-no-brainer book.
But wow, it was bad: the writing, the characters, sh!t not making sense...
