Summary

Joey needs a Daddy....

Sex has never been my main priority. Not what people expect to hear from someone who’s been head camera man for the single best studio in the kind of industry I work in.

I thought I’d seen it all working for the Ballsy Boys, but helping to build the Kinky Boys from the ground up seems like it’s going to be an eye opening experience.

A man has never turned my head before, so why can’t I stop checking out Daddy?

Sex might not be the height of excitement for me, but watching subs kneel for their Daddies certainly has me wondering....

What does it mean if a Daddy Dom keeps trying to feed me and make sure I’m okay? And what does it mean if I kind of like it?

Daddy is the first book in the Kinky Boys series, a spin-off from the best-selling Ballsy Boys series. It can be enjoyed as a stand-alone and ends with an HEA.

Bittersweet

I loved Pixie, the last in the Ballsy Boys series, and couldn't wait to read/listen to Daddy. I think that this is quite different, just as a book in a new series should be.

The coming to terms by Joey of his attraction to Hunter after always thinking he was straight, is very well explored and never rushed. Hunter is an amazing Daddy and I love how supportive and helpful he is to Joey and his parents. The secondary story of what Hunter has been through is sensitively played out.

The narration by Kenneth Obi is bittersweet, as I was listening to Daddy at the time he sadly passed away. I love his character voices and the way he brought a book to life. He will be greatly missed.

as great as the ebook, and I love Kenneth's voice

It was hard to listen in the knowledge, Kenneth isn't with us anymore, but I love his voice.

The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. Christopher Rain is one of the 8 narrators (so far), I can listen without break and have no problems to follow. I'm just not yet finish with the book, just over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Ruined by the narrator

I gave the story an avarage of 3 stars, because I could not judge the quality. The narration is horrible. Both men are identical and both sound like 13 year olds. On top of that, every sentence is read like it is a quip. It makes it hard to take the characters serious.
