About this listen
Celina: When Celina Connelly meets Jamie McCullough, she knows right away that he's a great guy. He's handsome, intelligent, thoughtful, and treats her well...but it's not enough. Celina is saving herself for the all-inclusive, heart-pounding, breath-stealing kind of magic that comes with finding the right one - the kind she feels when she meets Jamie's brother, Kyle.
Jamie: Betrayed doesn't begin to describe what Jamie McCullough feels when he discovers the woman who declined his marriage proposal has accepted another's - his own brother's! Hurt and angry, Jamie finds himself in the warm and welcoming cafe of Amy's Book Shoppe.
Amy's been attracted to Jamie's All-American good looks and gentlemanly demeanor since the first time she laid eyes on him. She's all for lending a sympathetic ear from the friend zone, but Amy refuses to be a rebound. She admits she wants more-when and if he's ready. After a bit of soul-searching (and some hilarious advice from a trio of middle-aged romance authors), Jamie finally realizes that sometimes, those lemons life gives you can make some pretty sweet lemonade.
Contains mature themes.

Awesome story
This is actually my second or third time of reading this book, I love it, it is my favourite of this series, and it is one of my go to books.
I am always pulled into the story and I feel as though I am watching what is happening as I read it.
There are twists, turns and surprises throughout the book, some of the surprises are big, some are small, some you will see coming and others you won't, but they all make the book the fantastic story.
I went on a emotional rollercoaster ride with this book, I did cry, I laughed, I got frustrated, a couple of times I wanted to slap the main male character within the story, but he redeemed himself and made things right.
Abbie Zanders is one of my favourite authors and I highly recommend her and her books, I have never read a book by her that I have not enjoyed, the Callaghan series, is one of my favourite, and as an added bonus it is on audible so I can listen to it whenever I like.

There a romances and there are romances which come alive
As usual Abbie Zanders does not disappoint. There are always guaranteed top stories, drama and suspense, love and laughter and no chance not to get pulled into the stories and live and enjoy the developments even if there are twists and turns and some detours. I don’t normally reread or re-listen to romance or crime stories but I discovered through the audiobooks that if the story is complex and contains many layers it is worth to listen again or read again to discover gems possibly overlooked before. Abbie Zanders is one of my favourites and I’m happy to add her books to the permanent library.

Book one
Love it when I know there’s more to follow. I’ve enjoyed the start of this series, hasn’t kicked off as well as the Callaghan’s but I usually find the books get better as the series progresses and I get to know the characters better. Bonus that it’s a complete book too and you can choose to continue or not.
